Classic Fairytale Wedding at the Château de Vallery

Although Nadja and Louis call New York City home, their French, German, and Slovenian roots brought

them back to Europe when it was time to tie the knot. Their civil ceremony was set at the Heidelberg Castle

in Germany, followed by multi-day festivities at the Château de Vallery in the Burgundy region of France.

As a destination wedding, the event drew 250 guests from all over the world for four days of

unforgettable celebration.

As their starting point of inspiration, the couple focused on privatizing a traditional château with room

to accommodate each one of their guests on-site. Château de Vallery checked every box, providing a

distinctly romantic atmosphere with Frerejean-Taittinger champagne flowing from day until night.

When the wedding day arrived, Nadja donned a Monique Lhuillier ball gown, which beautifully parallelled

the elegant aesthetic of their venue. Guests marveled at the couple and their vendor’s incredible attention

to detail, as a magical experience unfolded throughout the multi-day event.
