Desert Oasis Wedding Editorial in Joshua Tree

With the vision of discovering an oasis amid the arid desert, the idea behind this bridal editorial was born.

Oasis of Mara, a 9,000-year-old oasis surrounded by the Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree National Park

became the setting, with a talented vendor team including Kelly Oshiro and Hollyflora, among many others.

Inspired by the contrasting textures of  two environments, the editorial sought to capture the magic of lush

green palms juxtaposed with the dry, spiky outlines of the Joshua Tree.

The ethereal desert bride wore two unique looks, including a white BHLDN dress and a pale pink Jenny Yoo

dress, each complemented with a seasonal floral bouquet. The table design featured a desert sunset color

palette to contrast the greens palms of the oasis. Hollyflora used glazed white ceramic containers to hold

spring blooms, including poppies, ranunculus, king protea, camelia, and kalanchoe leaves. A clean, industrial

feel was incorporated with rose gold tolix chairs from Found Vintage Rentals, which complemented the rose

gold flatware from Casa de Perrin. A collection of geodes were mixed in the table’s floral centerpieces and

added a hint of desert texture.
